On Friday I got a notification that I was receiving a package from Disney Interactive Studios. The PR firm for Disney Infinity was sending me Disney Infinity 3.0. Immediately after I saw the message I saw another message from UPS that there was some sort of facility outage and my package was going to be late. Well, after playing with my emotions all weekend the package arrive right on time today at 10:30am. I was up not to long afterward to get it from the porch. But, I got a huge box of figures, playsets, power discs and the starter pack for the Wii U and all opinions I have are mine alone. Let’s get into it with this video below.
I blame the guys from Dad.FM for my newest obsessive compulsive-ness. They told me about apps that let you know if a shipment has been generated for your address from Fed Ex or UPS. Well, on Sunday Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars comes out and I am going to be getting a review copy of the game. So, I’ve been checking the apps to see if a shipment notification has been generated and last night at work I noticed that I had one! It told me that the package was coming and will be here monday by 10:30am. Great, because I sleep on Mondays and when I wake up the game should be at the house.
But then I got another message saying that the package may be delayed and that UPS was going to try and get me the package by Saturday. Not sure if that would be today or next Saturday. I checked the app over and over and it did not update and the package did not come. I got into work and saw that the package had gone from Valencia, CA to Van Nuys, CA. And most recently I checked at that information is not longer showing, it is like the package went back a few steps. It now says order processed, ready for UPS. What the heck! I certainly hope it arrives on Monday, now. some of my friends have already received the game. The Toy Queen got hers and I hounded her to find out what came in the box. I need to know before I attempt any hunting tomorrow with the release of the game. She told me and she also made this video.
Well now, I definitely cannot wait until Monday. I hope that UPS pulls through for me.
