I guess, since I can never see movies on opening weekend I don’t tell you that they opened until after opening weekend. If I am going to go see a movie I do so during the week. It is quieter and less crowded. I enjoy a less crowded theater. If I was to go to a movie this week I’d probably check out McFarland, USA. Everything I’ve seen about this movie has impressed me. This extended clip alone made me tear up a bit. So powerful. I really want to see this movie.

I just watched the second trailer for McFarland, USA. This is the Kevin Costner movie that I’ve been waiting to see. He’s a new PE teacher in a farming town and he sees the talent of the kids in his class. They are runners and he works to form a Cross Country team with the students. The movie looks to be powerful and I am excited to see it.
