I guess, since I can never see movies on opening weekend I don’t tell you that they opened until after opening weekend. If I am going to go see a movie I do so during the week. It is quieter and less crowded. I enjoy a less crowded theater. If I was to go to a movie this week I’d probably check out McFarland, USA. Everything I’ve seen about this movie has impressed me. This extended clip alone made me tear up a bit. So powerful. I really want to see this movie.
I am really hoping that the next time I actually get a Monday back to myself that I can go and see McFarland, USA. Ever since I heard about this movie I wanted to see it. I have written about it many times and I was even invited to go and see the movie and meet some of the cast including Kevin Costner. Life, or rather my lack of vacation time, got in the way. I wasn’t able to go. I missed out big time, but a couple of my good friends The Rockfather and Andrew Kardon of Mommy’s Busy did get to attend. They will have reviews up on their sites about the movie. I will post up my review once I actually see the movie.
