This morning Andrew and I picked up Erik at the airport. It was early enough that when we got back we were just in time for the opening of Toys R Us. Today was the release day for some wave 4 figures and traps. This also included the Easter themed figures like Eggscellent Weeruptor and Power Punch Pet Vac. In all there were around 14 figures and one trap that I did buy. I can’t remember which traps I have so I didn’t buy any of the new ones other than the Easter Bunny Earth trap.
The image also includes some previously released TrapMasters that were repaints of existing ones, Head Rush and Bushwhack. One a Target exclusive and the other exclusive to Toys R Us.

I am always, always, always on the lookout for the next thing from Skylanders. This week comes with a pre-Toy Fair announcement from Activision about some upcoming variant figures and also some partnerships with companies like General Mills and Crayola. I received a box of the Reese’s Puffs that are specially marked to have the Skylanders Skystones game inside. There will be 40 cards in 4 separate boxes. I hope that they are easily able to be identified because I’ll be buying a lot of General Mills cereal to get each of the boxes and all 40 cards. I’d like to sell or trade those that are extras.
