We received a download code in order to check out the latest Nickelodeon app called the TMNT Half-Shell Heroes app. Opinions of the app are 100% my own.

The TMNT Half-Shell Heroes app is all sorts of fun. It goes for $3.99 and has multiple stages of TMNT action. You take on the role of the ninja and have to help the half shell heroes clear their sewers of mousers, the foot clan and many of Shredder’s minions as well as the Shredder himself.

As you play you earn different power ups that you can use to defeat the foes. There are levels where you use water balloons, the other turtles and even spray cheese. I played through all of the levels, it isn’t too difficult for an adult but is challenging for the kids. Once you play through all the levels you can try to get high scores for levels in Splinter’s Dojo.
