I used my Christmas money to buy myself the LEGO Hulkbuster: Ultron Edition set. I’ve been waiting for some time to take care of building it, but I have had a lot to do lately. I’ve wanted to make as many videos as I can when I have the time, really working on it. Well, I really wanted to build this so I combined the two things together. I built it on a livestream. Actually, I built for 2 1/2 hours on a livestream and then Allison texted me to get dinner made. I cut the stream short at the second to last bag. After dinner I went back to working on the build and completed it.
While the build is a great one there are some drawbacks. The knees do not bend and the feet are loose. The whole thing leans forward and may topple. I’m going to go and put that somewhere nice and solid so that it doesn’t go and fall, because that is going to be a pain in the neck to build again.
I am trying really hard not to buy anything. The past couple of days I’d been cleaning up around my office. I have a ton of toys that I have wanted review on video. I haven’t been motivated to make videos either. I have footage from Great Wolf Lodge and yet, still haven’t done anything with the video. I sit down to do work and then go and do a bunch of tidying up around the house. Now my office is pretty clean looking but I still am not making videos like I should be. I had better get back into the groove before we head to Disney next month.
But as far as not buying things, Hot Wheels don’t count, do they? I saw the Fast and Furious one and then the other one which was cool called Dune-A-Soar. They were only a dollar each so… I will be starting a series of Hot wheels opening videos for the Star Wars and Marvel cars I have.
