I have been collecting Star Wars and Marvel Hot Wheels Vehicles for the better part of a year. I’ve gotten all of the Guardians of the Galaxy ones, Avengers and there are now many Spider-Man ones. There were also some random ones from Ant-Man and Hulk and The Agents of S.M.A.S.H. with Red Hulk. I’ll be opening these soon and there is a cool Hulkbuster car that can carry the Iron Man car. Putting those two together is a going to look awesome. I like how Hot Wheels went and made the vehicle in this way. They also made Groot big enough to carry Rocket.
there are also some special playsets that contain additional cars. I haven’t been collecting them, though. I probably should have grabbed a couple of them because there were some decent vehicles in those including a Captain America Truck and an Ant-Man car that had a smaller Ant-Man car with it. This past week was SEMA 2015, the Aftermarket and Specialty Parts show was held in Las Vegas this week. It is still going on. I saw a few friends there having a great time checking out all the amazing cars and taking great photos. Well, I wasn’t there. So what is a Toy Blogger to do? And by toys that does mean Big Boy Toys. I thought about the past car shows that I’ve attended. The Back in 2011 I attended the North American International Auto Show and more recently, this past June, an auto show at Bass Pro Shops where Eva and I did a father and daughter photowalk around the place. No shows were happening in my area so I decided to use my photography skills to highlight the autos that I had on hand, or rather, in hand. I decided to post a Toy Car Show spotlighting a bunch of different toy cars I had around the house.
I recently went on a trip to Disney for the IZEAFest 2015 conference. I bought a day ticket to Epcot and while I was there I saw some fun Disney Racers that I knew I had to collect. I picked up Stitch, Woody, Buzz Lightyear and BB-8 from the upcoming Star Wars movie. I liked how Stitch and Buzz photographed. I was using my Samsung NX500 with the 60mm Macro lens, Tripod and natural light outside. I also have a rotating light up display that shows in some images. You can check out all the rest of my Toy Car Show images below. Continue reading Why I Held My Own Toy Car Show→
