There are a bunch of people at work who are into couponing. They get some decent deals and sometimes the things they buy end up at their desks. People do deals and end up with a ton of stuff extra and they give it to each other. I was passing a desk and there were five bottles of Dawn. They were each a different color and the light hit them just right so I gathered them up and laid them out along a windowsill to capture the colors from the light.
We have some Fall decorations around the house. I figured I’d try a few things with my camera and my Sima SL-20LX Ultra Bright Video Light (Black) (Aff Link). I haven’t ever used this light on my camera before but I like it. I like it better than the flash because it is nice and even. I was able to also get a few photos of our cat Duncan and it didn’t give him crazy laser eyes either. I found that by adjusting the ISO and the White Balance to Tungsten I could get a decent shot with very good light.
