On October 16th it is good to be bad. With LEGO DC Super-Villains you become part of the solution. Darkseid has arrived on Earth and all of the Super-Heroes are missing. In their place is the Justice Syndicate which is actually made up of bad guys from an alternate universe. They start out making people believe that they are there to help but they are there to help Darkseid enslave the planet.
So, it is up to you and the actual bad guys from the Legion of Doom to take out the Justice Syndicate and take over for yourselves. You can see what the game is all about in the trailer below. After that you can find out more information about the game.
The photo above is from almost exactly two years ago. The whole family went to a special Nintendo 3DS night. While we were there I won a New 3DS XL and a bunch of games. One of the games was Donkey Kong Country. Well, a couple of weeks ago I was sent a copy of Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze for the Nintendo Switch by Nintendo . They sent us a free copy to play with and review. Here is what we thought.
The first time I played Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze on the Nintendo switch I played in Funky Mode with Funky Kong. This is a character playable in this version of the game. He’s has not been a playable character in a main Donkey Kong Country game before and he’s a fun character to use. Funky Kong as a playable character was introduced to make the game more accessible and a bit easier for the causal player. He is pretty overpowered in that he doesn’t get hurt by spikes, he can double jump and he can breath underwater indefinitely. So, he was a great character to try out right away because I was able to learn all the moves of the game and get comfortable before playing with a character like Donkey Kong who only has 2 hearts and cannot do all that Funky can do, without help. You can see a bit about the storyline and some gameplay int he trailer below.
