Podcast: TeXtra

GeekBrief.tv has introduced me to a new PodShow Podcast called TeXtra. When I get home I’ll be subscribing to this podcast with my iPod. Here is some information about the show.

TeXtra is about real technology and how it affects real culture and real people. So what that a new social networking site launches? What’s it got to do with you? TeXtra has the news as it happens, and has an opinion about it.

TeXtra is not a chick-reads-tech-news show. It’s not a gadget show. And it’s not a gossip show. Host Natali Del Conte is an accomplished technology journalist, having written for PC Magazine , Variety Magazine , MarketWatch, TechCrunch, The San Francisco Examiner , The Oakland Tribune , and more. She follows consumer and small business technology closely and is there to report it for you. TeXtra films several times a week because tech news waits for no one. Be sure to check in regularly.

This show is fairly new, there are only 13 episodes so you can get caught up very quickly. I will write more once I get a chance to watch the archives and comment more.

Podcast: Talking Tech…

Since I have begun watching podcasts I have found quite a few Tech based ones that I enjoy. One such podcast is the USA TODAY Talking Tech video podcast with Ed Baig and Jefferson Graham. Ed and Jeff are decent podcasters. They are pretty regular guys who give you tech information in a very easy to digest manner. They are fair in their reviews and can be entertaining. They podcast from separate locations and occasionally get together for joint podcasts. I do like how they throw the questions back and forth to each other. I would really love to have a job like theirs and have companies send me awesome tech stuff so that I can field test it and offer a review. That would be the ultimate.

You can subscribe to their podcast through iTunes and download the episodes to watch on your iPod.
