Review and Giveaway: Popchips

Popchips Think Popped, Never Fried, Never Baked

Popping into some Popchips!

Allison, Eva and I have been feasting on popchips for the past few days. We received three cases to taste test and we’ve certainly been doing that. We received a case of Original Potato, Sour Cream and Onion Potato and Barbeque Potato. While each of them are delicious I have to say that I am going to go with Original Potato as my favorite popchip. Eva likes the Barbeque ones because they taste orange. Not the actual flavor of orange but they taste the color orange. She’s a funny duck. Allison likes the Sour Cream and Onion ones. Continue reading Review and Giveaway: Popchips

Review: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Masquerade

Eva Enjoying her new Mickey Mote with Minnie's Masquerade DVD

The other day I received a brand new DVD for Eva and I to review. This was a Disney DVD called Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Masquerade. I was pretty excited to receive this because Eva is such a huge fan of the Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. I was also excited because the DVD is one of the ones that comes with a Mickey Mote and add a layer of interactivity for the Eva.

The setup of the Mickey Mote was easy but it only worked on one of our DVD players. As luck would have it the only DVD player that works with the Mickey Mote is the one in the bedroom so Eva got to hang out in the big bed and enjoy playing with the Mickey Mote and watching the show. She took right to the Mickey Mote and I set it at the second level. She can handle being able to identify four colors and shapes so we jumped right in to playing. For some reason Level Two played Secret Spy Daisy and not the new episode Minne’s Maquerade. I would have liked to have been able to choose the show to watch or at least know which episodes were level 1 and level 2.

Eva Enjoying her Minnie Masquerade Mask and her Mickey MoteAlso included in the package was a masquerade mask. The mask was reversible and on one side I Eva could color her own mask. Also included was a DVD cover that Eva could color too. She has already colored in her mask.

I had to leave the room while Eva was watching the show and when I returned she was all excited to tell me that she had answered another question using the Mickey Mote. She was very proud of herself for being able to answer the questions and play by herself. This is a great way for kids to get into their shows as a participant rather than just an observer. This DVD comes out on February 8. Here is the official press release with more information. Continue reading Review: Mickey Mouse Clubhouse: Minnie’s Masquerade
