Today was the Annual Downtown North Attleboro Parade. Eva was chosen by her school to be Mary on their float. Their float was a living nativity scene. Eva was absolutely thrilled to be chosen and you could certainly tell by the look on her face when the float came by where we were standing. She was smiling ear to ear and waving like crazy. After the parade Eva was asked to help Santa light the Downtown Christmas Tree.
Eagerly awaiting the arrival of Santa has become so much more fun now that we have kids. Seeing the wonder and excitement in the eyes of a 5 year old child is amazing. This whole month Eva has been interacting with our Elf on the Shelf, Fitzy. I know that many people are not thrilled with this thing but in our house he’s seen more as a guest than some sort of tattle tale. Eva has enjoyed his antics except when he made her an elf in the family photo. The like our elf and she will miss looking for him every morning. Continue reading Christmas Eve 2012→
