Now through Nov. 20 Mattel’s brick building brand, MEGA™, is running a holiday sweepstakes offering one grand prize winner $1000 in brick building products. That is a whole lot of bricks! I’m excited about it. I have always enjoyed the MEGA brands. I’m sure that you can go back through this blog and my YouTube channel to find many posts and videos with me and MEGABloks. I’ve also worked with MEGAConstrux and most recently posted about some Despicable Me 3 toys.

To enter the sweepstakes entrants must post a photo to Instagram or Twitter and include a caption detailing why the entrant likes to give or receive construction toys as gifts for children. The post must also include the hashtags #MEGAHolidays and #Sweepstakes, and the entrant must be following @MegaConstrux and @MegaBloks. You can find full sweepstakes rules here.

Force Friday II Is This Friday!

STAR WARS: The Last Jedi is arriving in theaters this December but the excitement kicks off this Friday with Force Friday II. Force Friday is the day when new Star Wars toys are released. Two years ago before The Force Awakens I was part of campaign to promote the movie and Force Friday. It was an awesome campaign. However, this year, nothing for me except me except for a Press Release about the day and something new with Augmented Reality. This year you can use your mobile phones to reveal a new Star Wars Character and in various locations around the world you can use the Star Wars app to turn major landmarks into something Star Wars related. As you know, I love contests and sweepstakes and I LOVE TO WIN! Seriously, I am surrounded by some winnings that I have been lucky enough to receive. My Zune, My iPod and many other items. So why not win a trip somewhere.

How about a FREE Raleigh Getaway. That would be great because Raleigh, NC has so much to do. I have only been to Charlotte, NC and I would like to visit some other cities in NC. I loved Charlotte very much and if Raleigh is anything as special as Charlotte was I know I will have a great time there.

Raleigh offers city life, Carolina Style and the Carolinas have wonderful style, there is so much to do in this hidden treasure of a vacation spot. There are many attractions, concerts and sporting events in Raleigh. I would like to see NC Theatre’s production of Man of La Mancha if I won the trip. I loved reading Don Quixote in High school and I hear that this is a fantastic play. I think that if Allison and I would like to go on a Fall Getaway in Raleigh, NC.

On thing that makes my job so great is that I get to chance to travel all over the country. I love to explore, take photographs and learn more about places. I see that Raleigh is working towards becoming a vacation spot for people who enjoy the excitement of a slower pace. And I mean it, a slower pace can be exciting. Learning from museums, seeing plays and just enjoying the southern hospitality of the people and their food is fantastic! I would certainly make great use out of my time with a trip to Raleigh, NC! QCC Kayaks is a company that has American made kayaks of very high quality. I am trying to win one from Paddling.net. Paddling.net has a sweepstakes from time to time where they give away some fantastic prizes.

But if I do not win there is always the $500.00 off sale at QCC Kayaks. The kayaks that they make are rather expensive but $500.00 makes the hit a little less intense.

I know that I should have looked into that back when I was starting out. I just picked one out and went paddling. I was lucky and I like my boat but I think it is time to upgrade soon.
