It snowed once again today. I am getting incredibly beaten down by snow, snow and more snow. So, tonight when I went to work I went to a different building to work. I have never been to this building before and I took a walk around to see what people had on their desks for fun games and toys. I saw a few desks that had Loot Crate items on them. Then I found a desk with this Samus Aran model on it. I’d never seen one before and it looked really cool to me. I had to take a shot. Focusing on the barrel of her blaster gives this image a tight focus.
As I was watching TV tonight I kept looking at one of our Perplexus puzzles. It is a maze in a ball that you have to try and get a tiny ball bearing to go through many obstacles. I kept looking at it and thinking, that would be a fun thing to shoot with my macro lens. It would be tough because the outside of the toy is a clear plastic ball. So there is a very soft look to this image because of that. It is also hard to get in and take a macro of something inside something else that is curved. So I tried and this was what I ended up with.
