Race Ahead with Skylanders SuperChargers on the Nintendo 3DS

Photo-A-Day #3818

Skylanders Superchargers for the Nintendo 3DS In addition to me buying the Skylanders Superchargers Dark Edition for the Wii U I also picked up the Nintendo 3DS version of the game. I’ve gotten all of the 3DS versions of the game ever since Skylanders came out because that version usually has different characters (This time if had Bowser and Clown Cruiser) and it is a different game. This game is a racing game pure and simple. It take the new vehicles as well as the trophies and more and the player races through a series of tracks against different villains and other skylanders. You can play this game online as well. That is, you can play against friends and race to see who is the fastest. I have been playing this version of the game while waiting for Eva when she is in play rehearsal. I enjoy having my Skylanders on the go with this game and the 3DS. It is a pretty sweet little game. One of my favorites in the Skylanders line. I have yet to completely finish any one of the 3DS games, though. Maybe this one.

You are going to need your existing collection to complete this game. There are some race tracks that get unlocked with certain elements and some with Magic Items. Make sure that you have those on hand when you are playing/

Discovering Sick Bricks

When I was at Toy Fair 2015 I went into the Spin Master booth and sadly it was a very quick visit. I learned a bit about different things and one of those things was Sick Bricks. These are little brick figures that can be scanned into a game. Your characters are tasked with the job of cleaning up Sick City and saving it from The Goons and Overlord Omega. There are all sorts of areas in the Sick City there are places for monsters, ninjas and many more. There are definitely some funny takes on pop culture icons including the Terminator, Optimus Prime and many more. I have played a bit with the game and it is pretty fun. I may consider picking up a few more of these little guys. You can scan them into the program in a number of ways. You can swap the figures or combine them for additional powers.
