Aladdin (Mena Massoud) meets the larger-than-life blue Genie (Will Smith) in Disney’s live-action adaptation ALADDIN, directed by Guy Ritchie.I just watched the first TV spot for Disney’s Live-Action Aladdin movie. This is the first time that we see Will Smith as the blue genie. Other images have shown him his natural skin tone but this is the first we have seen of him being blue. That was cool. Will Smith will certainly bring his own spin into the movie and from what I have seen it is going to be a huge movie, bright and colorful. There is a great scene where there are elephants adorned with all the colors of the rainbow plus we see Jasmine and her tiger, Raja coming down some steps. Not a lot was seen here but we do get to see Abu with Aladdin and also JAfar and Iago. But the big thing in this is The Genie. Take a look below.
Will smith leads a fun cast of characters in this interesting take on the spy movie. The movie starts out in a typical way where there is this ultra-tough, ultra-cool, and ultra-totally-unbeleiveable-makes-it-look-easy-stunts-and-driving-and-being-super-fly spy, Lance Sterling. Even his name screams super spy. Well, things do not stay that way for long as Lance is transformed into a pigeon because pigeons are everywhere and no one pays them any mind at all. That makes them the ultimate spies. At least that is what a young tech wizard, Walter Beckett, believes. So soon, Lance Sterling find that he is going to need help from Beckett and they must work together more closely than ever before. Take a look at this fun trailer for the movie.
