The day is finally here. Ever since I went to the PBS Annual Meeting back in May I have been excited for ODD SQUAD: The Movie on PBS Kids. It is here today. We get the old agents Otto and Olive teamed up with the new agents Olympia and Otis to take back their agency from Weird Team.
PBS Sent us an ODD SQUAD care package to celebrate the release of the movie. We were sent some fun things like Spy Sunglasses that allow you to see what is behind you and a spy watch that lets you leave secret messages and also get the time all over the world. There is even a special tool that allows you to see around corners.
The official description of the ODD SQUAD Movie is below.”In this feature-length ODD SQUAD event, a rival group of adults that calls itself Weird Team arrives with a gadget that fixes any odd problem. As a result, Odd Squad is run out of business and all the agents are forced to disband and go back to their lives as regular kids. Using math skills and teamwork, the kids discover Weird Team isn’t actually solving problems.“
Eva got geared up for the movie by trying out all of the special “agent” gear that we were sent. She’s going to be pretty excited when she sees the movie. ODD SQUAD is one of those shows that we can all watch and enjoy together. I love the humor. Eva loves that it is kids saving the world and Andrew loves that it can be very silly and that Miss O yells a lot.
ODD SQUAD: The Movie features comedic guest stars Jack McBrayer (30 Rock) and Hannah Simone (New Girl) as the team faces a new challenge: adults. Take a look at the trailer below.
Now, you may still be getting used to the new roster around ODD SQUAD. Agents Otto and Olive were promoted and new agents took their places. You can learn about them in this video.
so don’t forget to set your DVR to see the ODD SQUAD movie today, or another day soon as it will play again often. But make sure that you will see it.
Oh and we got invisible ink pens in our ODD SQUAD box of agent gear. The message below will self destruct in five seconds!
