Today we held Eva’s 5th birthday party. All the credit for preparation and making things go off well goes to Allison. She took care of everything including that amazing cake from the photo. I just woke up helped move a few things and did the cooking (mini sliders and hot dogs for the kids, a hit). The weather was on our side too. In our home there is always one cabinet that is in complete disarray. That would be the cabinet where we keep our plastic containers, our Ziploc, Glad, Rubbermaid, Tupperware and occasionally the halfway decent takeout container. It becomes a battle of wills and a test of endurance to see who will break down and finally clean and organize that cabinet. In the old place it used to be me.
