Today was a day off for the family. Eva and Allison were home from school and Andrew wasn’t at day care. I came home from work and the gym and slept for a while. When I woke up I brought down a bunch of toys that I got from Hasbro as part of the #ChooseLightSide / #ChooseDarkSide Program. I chose the light and so we got a bunch of rebel equipment. Much of it had to do with Chewbacca. I showed off my Black Series Chewbacca and Black Series Millenium Falcon. Well, I also got a Chewbacca Electronic Mask and Star Wars Nerf Chewbacca Bowcaster as well. I also received the Bladebuilders Jedi MAster Lightsaber and also another Extendable Lightsaber. Each Year Skylanders does a great Halloween themed character. Halloween Eye-Brawl was one of the best and this year we get another great one, Frightful Fiesta. I pre-ordered that Skylanders SuperChargers figure from Gamestop and he is fun to play. Here is a little video of Frightful Fiesta and his bio.
Several Halloweens ago, the legendary Pumpkin Pixies challenged Fiesta and his mariachi band to a duel of music in the Land of the Undead. The Pixies began with a bone-chilling tune, but Fiesta immediately followed with a spooky song of his own. On and on they played, each song more haunting than the one before it. And soon, the entire pumpkin patch was dancing. What began as a challenge had turned into the party of the year! So impressed were the Pumpkin Pixies that they used their magic to make Fiesta an honorary pumpkin for that day – and every Halloween thereafter!
