You're Not Going Anywhere

Today was the annual Christmas parade in North Attleboro. Eva walked in the parade with her school’s float. I wasn’t there this year because I was sleeping from the night’s work before. So, I missed the kids with Santa and once again Eva helped Santa throw the switch to light up the trees. I’m expecting that she’ll probably be in the newspaper tomorrow.

After the parade we met at my Mom and Dad’s house. I got up and headed over to have some dinner. When it was time for me to leave for work I was blockaded from the door by Eva and Andrew. They did not want me to leave for work. It certainly gets harder and harder each night during the weekend to go off to work. Each night the kids want to do something after dinner and they seem to forget that I have to leave the house and head to work

Andrew's Homework a Ginger Batman

Each month Andrew is sent home with some family homework. AS a family we are to color in a different thing that has to do with the current season. Last month was a pie for Thanksgiving and this month it is a Gingerbread man. Many kids come to school with some very fun and elaborate designs. I did not get to contribute to this one even though I specifically packed it to do on our mini vacation. We just never got to it. So, my contribution was finding the Batman looking mask that the Gingerbread man has on. Although, it didn’t end up with that one. Oh well, next month I’ll have to get right on it when it is sent home from school.

Andrew was excited, however to use his Minions coloring box from Crayola that we got him for his birthday. He likes having his own set of crayons and markers that are just for him. I’m hoping that he keeps these nice when he does his drawings.
