I popped into Toys r Us today because Thursday’s offer a 10% discount for TRU credit card holders and I also had a $10 off coupon. So I took a look to see what they had. I found Hard-Boiled Flare wolf for Skylanders Imaginators. this is the Spring/Easter themed repaint of Master Flare Wolf, a character I really like.

I’m so very excited for the launch of the Nintendo Switch and even more excited because I received the Skylanders Imaginators Starter Pack for the Nintendo Switch from Activision. I’m just so excited to see how the game works on this new system. Unfortunately my Nintendo Switch is not arriving until next week. But until then you can enjoy this unboxing of Hard-Boiled Flare Wolf. Also, below I have more information on Skylanders Imaginators for the Nintendo Switch.

Making Sand Slime from Elmer’s Glue and Tide Detergent

Glue and Tide Slime
Photo-A-Day #4341

I’ve had the supplies to make slime form Glue and Detergent for a while and haven’t found the time to actually get it done. Andrew and I had time today and so we made some of it together. What the video does not show is that that before you find the sweet spot of the correct portions of detergent and glue it is a sticky, sticky mess. I tried mixing with my hands before that perfect balance was struck and I couldn’t even push the record button to show what a crazy mess I made. Eventually, we did strike the perfect balance and made two different sets of slime. One with simple white glue and the other with a glitter glue.

Then I added some of the Kinetic Sand that I made with Brian on Steamdads. Mixing the sand at first made the whole concoction stickier. I have no idea how that was possible but that is what happened. In the end we got everything mixed up well and this has been one of Andrew’s favorite things to play with, especially after he lost privileges on the iPad.
