As a PBS Kids VIP (Very Involved Parent) I get the latest news on all things PBS Kids. This newest but of information is pretty cool. It is cool because of the technology involved and as a parent I like the idea of there being a Kid friendly streaming service. I also like that there is a non wi-fi aspect to this streaming stick. This is something that I know Andrew would really get excited about. He has been watching a ton of ODD SQUAD lately and he’s even applying what he’s learned to the real world. We went to dinner the other night and we split a pizza. It was cut into 8 pieces. He explained how we each got 4 eighths or one half. He updated the status of the pizza through the meal. I was very impressed and I know it was because of his exposure to ODD SQUAD. Below is the official press release on the device and all the technical specs you will want to know. Great Children’s Books for Moms and Dads
Disney-Hyperion sent me a whole mess of great books for free to read and review. #ad This video is a preview of all of them as well as when they come out for sale.
I love reading to the kids. It is one of my most favorite things to do with them. It is a rare occasion, though when Andrew is up for a book even though I get a ton of them to read to him and many are really funny. He loves the silly and absurd. Of the books that I talk about in the video below I personally requested “Night, Night, Groot” because I love the Guardians of the Galaxy. The books i cute and funny with many other Marvel Super Heroes making cameos. Take a look at the video and then below that I have a list of each book and how to buy or pre-order them on amazon.com (with my affiliate links and prices lower than what I tell you in the video.)
