Voltron Season 7 has landed on Netflix. There are 13 episodes in the season and I have 10 to go. We pick up after the events of Season 6 and the fight with Lotor. The Paladins and Voltron are in bad shape. The Castle of Lions is destroyed and everyone is on the run from new, and old, threats. This is an interesting season so far with some flashbacks to Keith and Shiro’s lives prior to becoming Paladins. There was a big old bomb dropped at the San Diego Comic Con about Shiro’s boyfriend, Adam. I’ve only seen a small bit from the flashback but I do hope to find out more about this relationship. I think it is a very interesting story arc for Shiro.
Here is a bit about the current season.
Tunnel Battle
All five paladins are being chased by Galra pilots and all five have a unique way of fighting back.
The upcoming season marks a dramatic shift for the series. Following Lotor’s defeat, the Paladins are finally able to set a course for Earth. But after a long and perilous journey, they discover that their home planet is not how they left it. The series features the voice talents of Steven Yeun (Keith), Tyler Labine (Hunk), Bex Taylor-Klaus (Pidge), Jeremy Shada (Lance), Josh Keaton (Shiro), Kimberly Brooks (Princess Allura) and Rhys Darby (Coran). Additional voices include Ana Gasteyer (Krolia), Mimi Davila (Romelle), Dave Coulier (Bii Boh Bi), Neil Kaplan (Zarkon), Cree Summer (Haggar), AJ LoCascio (Prince Lotor) and more.
The stakes have never been higher. So, I’m wondering what is going on here with this wacky game show episode.
Voltron Game Show: Pictation!
This is Garfle Warfle Snick! If only the paladins had brushed up on their Pictation skills… Will they be able to draw their way out of this peculiar game show?
That is just a taste of the new 13 episode season. You can also check out the full trailer below. Lots of action this season!
