I have a few Safari Ltd. dragons. Two of them are brand new and will be reviewed soon. I went out today to take a few photos of all three of the dragons. I was only able to get some good ones of the Ice Dragon because we are covered in ice here still. I went to Target and found some snow piles and positioned the dragon on them to take shots. It was so cold and the wind was bitter. I took a few shots, got back in the car, took a few more until I got this one. I really liked the icicle cave below the dragon.
I was playing around with my Samsung NX30 and NX300 with the 60mm Macro lens. I was taking photos of the shiny Optimus Prime Helmet that came with the KRE-O version of custom Optimus Prime and it made me think that it was a memorial to a fallen in battle Optimus Prime.
This also made me think of Transformers Prime, the cartoon series that I think was the best Transformers series ever. At the end of the series Optimus Prime is one with the All Spark. He’s basically dead, I’m sure that he will be coming back, though. There is no way that he’s gone for good. But, at the end of the series he is gone. I recently learned that an all new Transformers series is in the works for 2015. It will pick up years after the events of Transformers Prime, see the press release below.
