First-Ever HASCON Ticket Sales Opens

Ten years ago I attended Botcon 2007 in Providence, RI. While I was there I saw the first Transformers movie, twice in one night, met the owner of Siebertron.com and hung out with the guys from IDW. It was an amazing weekend. This September Hasbro has taken over an official convention just for Hasbro and their properties including Transformers. This is something that I want to take the kids to, I think they’d have so much fun. It is running from September 8-10 and sounds awesome. Here are the details we know right now.

PAWTUCKET, R.I. — May 22, 2017 – Today Hasbro, Inc. (NASDAQ:HAS), a global play and entertainment company, officially opened ticket sales for the first-ever HASCON FANmily™ event, which will take place in Providence at the Rhode Island Convention Center and Dunkin’ Donuts Center from September 8-10, 2017. Hasbro fans and families from around the globe can purchase single day tickets or three-day tickets for the convention, with VIP packages available for super-fans and the most enthusiastic collectors.

Today Hasbro also revealed the first round of talent appearances, panels and brand experiences set to take place during HASCON 2017. Appearances and meet & greets will be available with some of the biggest names from Hasbro, including DUDE PERFECT, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (Producer of all the TRANSFORMERS films, as well as G.I. Looney Toons Hot Wheels Character Cars – And a Special Guardians of the Galaxy Character Car

I woke up pretty sick this morning. For most of the morning I wasn’t feeling well at all. I need to get caught up at Koko Fit Club, however, because I still need to complete 12 sessions on the cardio and the strength equipment. While I wasn’t feeling like it would be a good idea to do strength I did go and do the cardio for a couple of sessions instead. I did a few sessions until I was no longer feeling like sticking around would be the best thing to do.

I left the gym and headed over toward Gamestop because I was looking for the new Knight Rider Fun Pack for LEGO Dimensions. But when I got over that way I wasn’t feeling up to it so I wandered Toys R Us instead. While I was there I was looking for some Transformers but instead found the remaining Looney Toons Hot Wheels character cars. I was continuing down the Hot Wheels aisle and my eye was drawn to the words, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2. There I found a baby Groot Go Kart character car. While there were no other ones the back of the toy shows a newly painted Rocket, a Yondu character and possibly a repainted Gamora. I wasn’t even aware that these would be hitting the shelves anytime soon/ The movie isn’t for a couple of months. I was really surprised and happy to find this.
