Photo-A-Day #1883

Each morning that I go for a run around 5:00am I see the cows out in the pasture. When I go by later in the day they are gone. I always kick myself for not having my camera with me when I run (very impractical, I’m already lugging around enough weight). Today I decided to get up early and go to work by way of the pasture and stop and take some photos. I will try and get them another time earlier in the morning. They were mostly huddled in the corner of the pasture.

As far as the ice cream part of today, Allison, Eva and I went to SweetWorks. SweetWorks is a new venture from SoupWorks (a very successful restaurant in town). It is an ice cream shop as well as café with some delicious treats. The things we saw and smelled, oh the temptations. The decadent chocolates and rich Bliss Ice Cream was fantastic. Eva got a kiddie size cone of vanilla and I got Moose Tracks, Allison choose caramel pecan. A really fun touch was shakers of jimmies (chocolate and rainbow) on the tables. Right there on the tables, that was a nice touch, however that may not be the best idea for the shop because those things get all over the place.
