Tonight we celebrated Christmas a little early and online. Allison’s parents are down in Florida and they sent up Eva’s Christmas gift, a Fisher Price Loving Family Grand Dollhouse Super Set (Aff Link). Allison put the house together this morning and wrapped it tonight. We got pizza for dinner and watched How The Grinch Stole Christmas. After that we fired up Skype and got online with Allison’s parents.
Skype worked really well for us. I used my laptop and was able to position the camera down on the floor as Eva opened the gift. She was more than ecstatic. Eva was completely sucked in to playing with the Doll House. She had so much fun making up stories and having conversations with the dolls. The set came with a Mom, a Dad, A daughter and twin babies (boy and girl). She named one of the characters Cindy Lou Who because of The Grinch. We got a kick out of listening to her play. she is so imaginative.
We also watch Mimi and Grandpa Dano open their Christmas gift from us, a Kodak Pulse Digital Frame (Aff Link). I got this frame from Kodak at BlogWorld & New Media Expo. Before we sent it down I set it up so that we could e-mail photos directly to the frame and so that Allison’s brother can send pictures of his daughter too. Mimi and Grandpa Dano really were excited finding the Pulse already set up with photos and they even got some photos directly from my camera phone as we all watched Eva play. This is probably the best Christmas gift you can send someone who lives far away. Thank you Kodak for the frame.

Those Kodak frames are fabulous! I’m sure Eva will have hours of fun playing with her doll house. Merry Christmas to your family if I don’t get a chance to say it before then.
Thank God for skype that connects people who live far away from each other. I wish you a great Christmas time with your family and friends. And by the way that’s a cute doll house.
