I swear, between what we order online and what I win online UPS, USPS and FedEx is staying in business. Today I received the copy of the FuelMyBlog Global Cookbook that I won. Ten winners were randomly selected and we each won a hard cover copy of this very nice cookbook. I’m still kicking myself for not submitting something like a Fry Sauce Recipe or something. Also it would have been nice to have one of my photos and a recipe part of a hardcover book. This time around FuelMyBlog is raising money for Stop Hunger, appropriate, with sales from this book. You can purchase your copy by going to Blurb at http://www.blurb.com/bookstore/detail/485233.
This book arrives at a great time since Allison and I have started to really get better about planning out meals for the week by using recipes. I’m sure we’ll find something worth making from this book.
I need another cookbook like I need another hole in the head, but I will be buying this one anyway. I collect cookbooks, stopped counting at 500, it’s probably up to 600 by now. I did draw the line, however, when I was in a store once and saw a cookbook about how to cook insects. I don’t think so, not even as just a collector’s item that I’d never actually cook from!
But I do have several cookbooks about making homemade cat food! And sometimes I do make the stuff.
But I’m always a sucker for any charity cookbook, I have tons of those. That’s a big part of why I want to buy this one.

Either you enter way too many contests or I’m not entering enough! I’ve never won anything, lucky duck. 🙂
Maybe you can start a new recipe blog and eventually turn it into a book!
Christine,
That is a huge collection. I can’t beleive how many books you have that is incredible.
MLDina,
I could call it something like bensparkcooks.com or more accurately bensparkcookscleansandchangesdiapers.com. What I’d really like to do is have a cooking podcast where I have different bloggers come and prepare their recipes with me. That would really be fun.
