This morning Eva and I ran over to Walmart to pick up Creationary. This is a LEGO game that is similar to Pictionary in that instead of drawing you need to build something that looks like something that you see on a card. I had wanted this game for a while and so when I recently got a gift card for Walmart.com I used the site to store option to go and pick up the game.
I also picked up Monsters Inc. We didn’t have that movie and I still had some money left on another gift card so we picked up the Blu-Ray/DVD pack. We hadn’t seen this movie and weren’t sure how Eva would enjoy it, she did. I fell asleep through most of it. But I’m sure I’ll be watching it again another day.
Playing Creationary was pretty fun. Eva helped me separate all the bricks into spaces by color. I put all the wheels together and she did the game die. Then we played as a family and it was fun. I discovered that Eva was enjoying playing with LEGO, this is a good thing as I have a closet full of LEGO sets that we can build together. That is, when she is old enough to appreciate Star Wars, because many sets are Star Wars sets.
I started watching the Learn & Master Photography course sessions from Legacy Learning. What a wonderful series. I’m enjoying learning things from Vince Wallace. He has an easy-going way of explaining how cameras work and what you can do with your camera. I’m excited to learn more from this series. I even signed up to be a part of the online forums for course students, it is free and there is a bunch of people on there with good information and help.

Creationary sounds interesting, but it also sounds like it may be harder for me than Pictionary. It’s probably easy for you because you play or have played with legos alot. I don’t know if I could be that creative with them.
