I was playing around with my Samsung NX30 and NX300 with the 60mm Macro lens. I was taking photos of the shiny Optimus Prime Helmet that came with the KRE-O version of custom Optimus Prime and it made me think that it was a memorial to a fallen in battle Optimus Prime.

This also made me think of Transformers Prime, the cartoon series that I think was the best Transformers series ever. At the end of the series Optimus Prime is one with the All Spark. He’s basically dead, I’m sure that he will be coming back, though. There is no way that he’s gone for good. But, at the end of the series he is gone. I recently learned that an all new Transformers series is in the works for 2015. It will pick up years after the events of Transformers Prime, see the press release below.

ROLL OUT, Transformers fans! We’re debuting an all-new Transformers series in early 2015! The new animated series, produced by Hasbro, stars Will Friedle (Boy Meets World), along with Darren Criss (Glee), Constance Zimmer (House of Cards), Ted McGinley (Married with Children), and is executive produced by Jeff Kline (Transformers Prime, G.I. Joe Renegades).

The new series takes place years after the battle between Autobots and Decepticons in Transformers Prime, and centers around our hero, Bumblebee, who steps up to lead a brand new team of Autobots.
