Slugterra’s First Animated Movie: Ghoul from Beyond

Slugterra Ghoul From BeyondSlugterra is one of those rare shows that both my daughter and I love equally. It is fun to watch and talk about. Slugterra has been the topic of many car ride made up stories as well as before bed discussions. Eva likes all the episodes and I can’t wait to share this new movie with her when it comes out on June 10.

I watched the trailer below and am very excited to see what happens after Eli and the Shane gang defeats Dr. Blakk. It looks like their work protecting Slugterra isn’t finished. A brand new opponent is causing trouble and the fight looks like it will be a tough one.

I hope that this is a jumping off point for a whole new season because Slugterra is a fun show and we want to see it succeed.

After the trailer check out the synopsis of the movie and you can pre-order Slugterra: Ghoul From Beyond from Amazon and also Shout Factory.

Bring Home the Adventure June 10th, 2014 from Shout! Factory Kids

Join the Shane Gang in Slugterra: Ghoul from Beyond, the first feature-length Slugterra adventure! Based on the hit animated television series, Slugterra: Ghoul from Beyond continues the epic sci-fi comedy adventures set deep underground, where the ammo’s alive and only the quick survive! In this luminous, high-tech, underground world, every cavern holds a new adventure, a new battle and weird little slugs to be discovered. Available on DVD June 10th, 2014 from Shout! Factory in collaboration with Nerd Corps Entertainment, this exciting animated movie also includes a bonus ‘slugisode’ and has a suggested retail price of $14.97.

Just when the evil Dr. Blakk has been defeated and it seems like Eli Shane’s duties as protector of Slugterra are getting easier, a new danger emerges from beyond the 99 caverns. Eli and the Shane Gang rush to the rescue, but nothing can prepare them for what they encounter: a slug that can do something no one in Slugterra has ever seen — or heard — a slug do before! Traditional slugslinging no longer applies. Eli will have to engage in a very different kind of duel to save Slugterra…and himself!

  1. Nice, My most loved show, I have been waiting for it and now it is here, going to order it soon from amazon. Love the Slugterra and the cartons made. thanks for sharing.

  2. Well I really think that’s cool, and I would gladly buy it for $14 or $15. I am a Disney addict and I like everything they do, but something bothers me here. I mean, yes I know it is a TV movie and that it does not have a big budget and all, but I noticed some texture and animation issues that are unworthy of Disney… that kinda irritated me. I don’t know, got to see the full movie first.
