The New Cut

I mentioned in yesterday’s post that I took photos of Andrew’s new haircut and you didn’t see any of them. Well, I took more today and because my photos back up to Google I got a notification that Google had done an auto color pop image. The Google Photos Assistant made Andrew in color and the rest of the image black and white. I’m impressed with how well it turned out.

Tonight we made individual pizzas and also watched Ant-Man. I promised Eva a Marvel movie night with Dad and that was the movie that I thought she would like most. I’ve got to figure out what the next one will be and see what will be appropriate for her. Andrew liked the movie, too but fell asleep during the very end, which is just as well because when he is fighting sleep he tends to talk more than usual. He talks plenty when watching a movie.

Andrew Earns His Red Belt

Tonight we went to Karate for Andrew’s Little Dragons Red Belt Ceremony. He has been working hard and getting better and better at Karate. Tonight’s Ceremony was a little different because we asked Eva if she would sit with Andrew during the ceremony. Normally this is for a parent to do but we figured that Eva is also part of his ‘Black Belt Support Team’. She goes every Thursday without complaint and we thought it might be cool for her to do the ceremony. Allison and I usually take turns doing it. It was a smaller graduation ceremony tonight and it felt right. I’m so proud of both of them. It is obvious how much they love each other.
