Disney’s Descendants 2 Is Now Out On DVD

Disney Descendants 2

We received a copy of the newly released DVD, Disney Descendants 2 to watch and review. We loved Disney’s Descendants so much that Eva had a Descendants themed birthday party. So, when it was learned that Descendants 2 was coming out we got excited and could not wait to watch it. Then we went and bought the soundtrack that has been playing non-stop since it was downloaded. Then when we were asked to review the DVD we were even more excited. The DVD has a bunch of great features. There are bloopers, special songs and so much more. We had a lit of fun watching that and also all of Wicked World, a series of shorts about the kids from Descendants.

In Descendants 2 the villain kids are back and the stakes are even higher in the highly anticipated sequel to the Disney Channel Original Movie “Descendants”! The story deepens in the music-driven sequel to the global smash hit “Descendants,” as the teenage sons and daughters of Disney’s most infamous villains try to find their place in idyllic Auradon. When the pressure to be royally perfect becomes too much for Mal, she returns to her rotten roots on the Isle of the Lost where her archenemy Uma, the daughter of Ursula, has taken her spot as self-proclaimed queen of the run-down town. Uma, still resentful over not being selected by Ben to go to Auradon Prep with the other Villain Kids, stirs her pirate gang including Captain Hook’s son Harry and Gaston’s son Gil, to break the barrier between the Isle of the Lost and Auradon, and unleash all the villains imprisoned on the Isle, once and for all. Bring home all the mischief on DVD August 15th!

Eva's Birthday Party Attendees

Today was Eva’s eighth birthday. She had a Disney Descendants themed party where her friends and cousins came over and they watched the movie together and enjoyed many candy treats like the kids in the movie. Allison, Eva and Andrew separated the different colored candies into containers according to the colors for each of the four characters. They did a really nice job of it, too. Allison then decorated a couple dozen cupcakes for each of the characters as well. It was a more low key birthday than last year’s monster hunt but a lot of work none-the-less.
