Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars The Force Awakens Play Set is now in my hands. I got to play that this afternoon as Andrew napped. Then while I played my most recent Smuggler’s Bounty box arrived from Funko. That is the Star Wars Themed Collector’s box filled with great Funko items like a t-shirt, pin, patch, exclusive Funko figure and more. So, for today’s vlog I unboxed both fun items. I also received my latest Loot Crate but I’m going to hold that until tomorrow’s vlog.

The Force Awakens Play Set comes with Rey and Finn and the game piece. You start off on Jakku and have to find your way off to continue through the galaxy. I played through most of Jakku and then got the Millennium Falcon and will be continuing the adventure later. This Play Set was sent to me for free and I’ll be picking up a Kylo Ren and a Poe Dameron figure myself to add to my collection as well as the power disc pack. I knew that I should have grabbed those guys when they were on buy one get one for 50% off at Target a few weeks ago. Oh well, live and learn. The Play Set is so much fun. The characters are great and I love the cut scenes that go with it. Flying the Millennium Falcon is quite a trip, too. Both characters are really fun. You can see more about them in today’s vlog.

The Smuggler’s Bounty box is something that I purchase myself. I do the same with the Marvel Collectors Club box. There is now a DC themed collectors box but I cannot be buying that as well. Where am I going to put all my Funko Pops? You can see everything from the Smuggler’s Bounty box in the vlog as well and I have a couple of photos of the items after the jump so read on.

Avengers Assembled

So far I’ve been able to pick up pretty much every one of the Avengers: Age of Ultron Funko Pop figures. That is, at least until the release of Black Widow and Scarlet Witch. Still no word on Quicksilver. I’d also like to see Nick Fury and War Machine figures for this line. Also Falcon. Then I’ll have a real complete set.

Today was the official release day for Marvel’s Avengers:Age of Ultron to hit theaters. I’ll be seeing it again on Monday. I’m very excited to see this movie with Allison and Uncle Mike. Then I can finally talk about it around the house. I wrote a review of Avengers that is Spoiler-Free and then did an Avengers: Age of Ultron Dad.fm podcast with Adam Cohen of DadaRocks! that is Spoiler-FULL. We talk about everything Avengers and also delve into Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and the tie-in with the movie.
