There is a whole bunch of great news coming out of LEGO Dimensions today. First off is the new episode of Meet That Hero where Sonic the Hedgehog introduces us to Michael Knight and the Knight Rider Fun Pack that is arriving on February 10th There are some great jokes to be found in that episode, especially if you are a child of the 80’s like me. The other news is that there are three new packs coming in May. We will see the release of the Goonies Level Pack, the Hermione character and Buckbeak Fun Pack and also the Chase McCain of LEGO City Fun Pack! The full press release is below.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment released the fourth episode in the “Meet That Hero!” video series. This is a funny series where different LEGO Dimensions characters interview each other or talk about the other to introduce them to the audience. On November 18th Newt Scamander and a whole new Story Pack hits LEGO Dimensions. This is based on the new movie Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. I cannot wait to play this Story Pack.
In the video, the highly respected Gandalf attempts to introduce Newt, but things quickly go awry when no one is able to differentiate Gandalf from his fellow wizard and white-haired doppelganger – Professor Dumbledore. This is a clear case of mistaken identity that Gandalf the Grey shall not let pass! The hilarious video also showcases a number of Dimensions’*ahem* fantastic beasts in action, including Velociraptor and Unikitty, who find themselves among his real fantastic beasts, like Niffler.
