On October 18th Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides was released on DVD, Blu-Ray and Movie Download. This is the fourth installment in the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and stars Johnny Depp as Captain Jack Sparrow a wily and flamboyant pirate who manages to get himself into and out of tons of trouble. I’ve enjoyed the Pirates movies ever since the very first one came out. That one was by far the best in the series because it was visually stunning, had a great cast and a fun story. With the second movie things went downhill and the third was really hard to follow because of the plot holes. However, with the fourth movie I think that things have gotten back on track. The movie is loosely based on a novel called On Stranger Tides. Captain Jack Sparrow was written into the story and the usual mayhem ensues.
