So… You pretty much already know how I feel about Modarri. I absolutely love them and they will be featured in my upcoming Holiday Gift guide titled, “The 10 Coolest Toys I Wish Existed When I Was 10”. I learned about these toys months and months ago and started looking into them, eventually helping to fund their wickedly successful Kickstarter Campaign and seeking them out at Toy Fair. When the opportunity arose for me to review these toys I jumped all over it even though I will be getting my own set of Modarri cars that I am expecting from my Kickstarter Rewards. But I got a set of Modarri car for review. The Street Car “S1,” Dirt Car “X1”, Track Car “T1” and the DIY car that we painted with nail polish. Opinions are 100% my own.
Modarri toy cars are the first toy line from Thoughtfull Toys. The toy line was 300% funded on Kickstarter and was officially launched at Toy Fair 2014. The cars will begin hitting retail stores very, very soon. I took my Modarri cars with me to work one night and all the guys were having a great time taking them apart and putting them back together in different combinations. Let me explain. Modarri cars are modular cars with parts that swap with each other. Here is what the cars look completely broken down into their component parts. Each modular car includes a chassis, hood/windshield, seat pan, seat, fenders and frame, hex tool, four wheels, front and rear suspensions and a hex tool for taking them all apart and putting them back together or better yet, mixing them up with other cars in the line.
