I didn’t kayak at all last year. My boat sat in the garage for an entire year. That is sad. This year I vow to get out on the water and paddle more. I am going to go kayaking tomorrow with a friend of mine. We’re supposed to go down the Ten Mile River practically behind my house. We’re going to put in by the DPW because we’re going with someone from the conservation commission. I’m looking forward to the trip. I haven’t paddled with my friend Keith for even longer than it’s been since I’ve used my boat.
I finally got to get on the water this morning. I got up and out of the house a little after 7am. I made my way over to Falls Pond. My boat was already on my roof rack as it had been all week long. I’ve been wanting to go kayaking all week long and Tuesday was the day I was going to do it but it poured that day, so no kayaking for me. then Wednesday came and more rain, Thursday more rain as well.
