New Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Character Posters have Arrived

Brand new Character posters for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story have just been released and they look great. The story is about the rebels stealing the plans for the Death Star and in these posters you see those digital plans across the character’s faces. You can see the full images by clicking on each of the thumbnails. The Posters feature – Jyn Erso (Felicity Jones), Captain Cassian Andor (Diego Luna), Director Orson Krennic (Ben Mendelsohn), Chirrut Îmwe (Donnie Yen), K-2SO (Alan Tudyk), Bodhi Rook (Riz Ahmed), with Baze Malbus (Jiang Wen) and Saw Gerrera (Forest Whitaker). I found a Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Funko Pop! of Saw Gererra. This is a character who was first introduced in Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He was a rebel who would go to extremes. He and his sister Steela were part of a rebel group the Onderon rebels. They fought against the Confederacy of Independent Systems on Onderon during the Clone Wars.

In Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Saw Gererra is going to be part of the rebel forces, I hope. It looks like he has had some cybernetic upgrades. He’s got a metal leg and he may even have a metal arm. He’s certainly a grizzled old warrior covered in scars from his many fights in the Rebellion. I’m looking forward to seeing Forest Whitaker’s take on the role. I think he’s going to be great.

With the introduction of a character from The Clone Wars into the movies it gives me hope that Ahsoka Tano may finally appear in the movies. That would be incredible. She is one of my all time favorite characters. I need to find her Pop! soon.
