National Daddy Daughter Tea Date is tomorrow… for everyone else. For Eva and I it was today. Why? Well, I work weekend nights and wasn’t sure that I’d be awake and able to take Eva to tea tomorrow, so we went today. We went to Watson’s Candies & Café and it was wonderful. I was at work today and got an e-mail asking me if I would like to go and see the Radio City Christmas Spectacular starring the Rockettes. I could have free tickets if I went tonight or tomorrow for the 11:00am show. Well, with Eva having Dance and I having the Road to Thin Podcast, if we were going to make it to the show we had to go tonight. We knew it was going to be a late night for Eva but she was a trooper and made it through most of the first hour of the show. Then she crashed… hard. That is the kind of kid she is, she goes non stop all day long and then… bang. Out like a light. She’s pretty much always been that way. I wish I could fall asleep like she can.
