It is no secret that I absolutely love The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. I’ve been playing it every day and running all over Hyrule. There are many great parts to the game. One thing that I have been having fun discovering has been the sunrises and sunsets all around Hyrule. I capture many of them with the screen capture button on the Switch itself. The world is so expansive and beautiful. I enjoy just walking around. But, what went into making this game and how long did it take. There are so many questions to answer and these three videos do a really nice job talking about the game and its creation. There may be some minor spoilers but nothing too major, it is mostly about what was done to make this epic game that so many have discovered and loved.
How does the world of Hyrule in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild relate to Kyoto? Where did the game’s musical inspiration come from? How were the sound effects for Link’s footsteps created? Which time period in Japanese history inspired the Sheikah Slate? All of these intriguing questions will be answered in this developer video series.
