Today is the 1000th consecutive day that I have taken and posted a photo to my blog. You can go all the way back to Day one on April 9, 2005 when I started this strange journey of discovery. I owe a huge debt of thanks to Christopher Williams for the idea. It was because of his 2002 Photo-A-Day project that mine was born. I also owe a huge debt of thanks to all of my friends and family who didn’t know exactly what they were getting themselves into when I started this project. They have been subjected to and subjects of my camera in their face for such a long time.
Today I bought a video camera, it is the Canon ZR850. I am bringing it with me to Blog World Expo and I look forward to meeting many new people and having a great time while I am there. I should get to see many of my blog friends and hope to make many more new ones. The camera has an SD slot and I got a SDHC 4.0GB card to take with me as well. I am going to be all ready to capture as much media as possible. I would certainly have enough footage for anything to do with this blog. I hope to get many people to interview and make videos of my experience when I return home. For now I have to get finished packing and get to bed.
