Today was the first real snow of 2016. It is far less than last year but I still did some snowblowing and shoveling. I expect to go and do a bunch more tomorrow when I am done with work. It was a great day to sleep, though. I was able to get a pretty long sleep in and was able to clean up the driveways of our house and our neighbor’s house.

I picked up a new toy the other day. I found the Iron Man Monster Truck. And then I had a little fun with it and more of my Marvel Hot Wheels. I’m going to look for the Captain America one as well so that I can play with them as well. Still working on the #BloggerCivilWar with my friend Andrew over at Mommy’s Busy, Go Ask Daddy. Our friendly little banter battle is because we love the Marvel movies and are so excited about Captain America: Civil War.

Hey this is Drew Bennett from Benspark.com and I just home from work. I’m recording now, early because there is supposed to be a snowstorm coming. I’m on the East coast so we’re on the line of getting not too much to getting 8 to whatever inches. So, I have no idea what it’s gonna be when I wake up so I figure I would get it done now, record something because if it’s after… If it’s snowing like crazy when I get up I have to snowblow both my yard and my neighbors’. And they have two driveways. They give me their snowblower, I do the driveways. Really just helping them out. I don’t mind doing it, helping them out it’s a lot of fun. It’s freezing cold but it’s fun.

So, instead of what was going on today or maybe a video here and there of what happened throughout the day I’m gonna be asleep. Maybe I’ll insert whatever snow we got, here.

Snow Video 1:

So it’s snowing out here. It’s about 4:30 or so. I’m in Massachusetts. The snow is piled up. I’ve gone out and done some snowblowing. I do my yard. I do the neighbor’s. A lot of the streets haven’t been plowed yet. It’s still not a lot of snow but I gotta work all night, so I had to go and get this done before I went. Getting some snow taken out. My neighbors’ they’ve got two driveways so I’ve gotta do both of them. So this is what the neighborhood’s looking like right now with all that snow. I hope that wherever you are that you are keeping warm.

Snow Video 2:

ME: The kids are out here helping. They’re out playing.

EVA: We aren’t!

ME: No you’re not. You are out playing. So what are you doing, Eva?

EVA: We’re collecting snow on my sled and then we’re going to take it down here to make a big hill.

ME: Oh, Okay! So you’ll have a hill to sled, ‘cause be have lots of high areas in the backyard here.

EVA: It’s an artificial hill.

ME: Oh, you’re making an artificial hill Well, okay. Andrew,

ANDREW: Eva, that’s the one I’m gonna sled down with.

ME: You’re gonna sled down with this sled? What’s on that sled?

ANDREW: Snow.

ME: What’s on underneath the snow. What do you got there? Oh, a husky.

EVA: Hey, what ‘re you doing, keep the snow on the board.

ME: Oh sorry, the boss has spoken, the boss has spoken.

So, I don’t know. It could be a lot, it could be a little, who knows. You saw the clip. What’s going on with that. I have no idea. I also wanted to insert a little video right here.

Iron Man Monster Truck Clip.

Oh, well it looks like the team under Cap is actually going to soon be under Iron Man. At least the Iron Man Monster Truck in a moment, as he crushes Team Cap. Yep, Team Stark has got all the toys.

Yeah, I picked this up the other day, it is a new Hot Wheels Monster Truck. The Iron Man Monster Truck. This was from a little set of whole bunch of little figures. An unboxing I did a while back. I’ll link that in the show notes. This is the Iron Man Monster Truck, really nice. They do have a, I’m told, they do have a Captain America one. But I didn’t see it, I didn’t see it anywhere. Of course if I do see it I’ll probably buy it so that they can compete with each other. They do have smaller versions of the monster trucks from Monster Jam. I really would love it if Hot Wheels and Monster Jam puts out the Civil War one with Iron Man vs Captain America. I mean, how can you not, that would be perfect.

Now I don’t have the full on team here for Team Cap because, well there’s no Winter Soldier car yet. And there is no Scarlet Witch one yet. And the thing is, I’m not sure when that Scarlet Witch one’s gonna come. As we know the toy companies don’t put out a lot of female figures, in cars as well. I’ve got Gamora from Guardians of the Galaxy and I’ve got Black Widow. I’ve actually got a couple Black Widow cars. One is her theme car like this and the other one is more of a car and she’s on the package. Let’s get the Scarlet Witch one there. Then we’ll have some more. I’m pretty sure that after Captain America: Civil War there’s gonna be a bunch more of these type of cars out which is gonna be great because I love collecting them. I’ve got a whole bunch of them. This is just a bit of my collection here. We’ve got Cap, we’ve got Falcon, Ant-Man and Hawkeye. You can see they’ve got some cool details on them. The exhaust is actually a couple of quivers. The front looks like a bow. Ant-Man shrunk down to his helmet size. Falcon, not really a fan of Falcon’s car, it’s alright a lot of wings and stuff but I’m not a fan. But, I do like Cap’s car. Of course I like Iron Man’s much better. Iron Man’s is cool ‘cause it fits into a Hulkbuster version as well. That’s a cool car. and then of course this monster truck version is just the beast
