Climb for it!

Photo-A-Day #3714

Today I took Andrew to his swimming lesson. The one right before the last one. He’s doing really well and is confident but he’s over confident and doesn’t listen so he’s always spinning around at the wall when he should be holding onto it. He loves his teacher, Miss Amanda, and I think she’s great, too. No talking to me like I’m three, so I like that a lot. After this session Andrew will take a break because we’ll be swimming in pools and at the beach so there won’t be much time for lessons, but when school starts back up so will lessons.

Andrew Climbing the PoleHe’ll get tot eh top next time.

After lessons Andrew wanted to play in the playground with the kids, he wanted to go to ChildWatch. Well, it is part of the membership so why not use it. I put him in for 45 minutes while I wrote yesterday’s blog post on my phone in the lobby. I will have to come back again and take full advantage of the 2 hours of ChildWatch and do some work in the lobby. I’ll remember to bring my laptop with me next time. I should have been doing this all school year.

We went someone different after the Y. We went down to Providence Place Mall today. We went for a couple of reasons. I just got a new iPad Mini as part of the Netflix Stream Team and I wanted to see if I could upgrade it. It was factory sealed so it should have been no problem. I won a MacBook years ago and turned that in for 2 iPads and while it was sort of a pain to get it done I was able to do it. But this time I was shut down.

Rather than cause a scene or get frustrated we went over to see the new LEGO store. It is small but it looks great. There are so many LEGO sets that I want to build. I don’t necessarily want to keep them all but I do love the experience of building. that is why Pley.com is so perfect for me. I’m signing up after my review period because it is pretty awesome. We played in the store for a while and then got some lunch and headed home. Andrew was fighting the sleep hard today and we made a bunch of other stops before getting home. But sleep he did so I could relax a little bit.
