Review: NERF Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow

Dad is impressed with the NERF Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow

We received a Nerf Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow to play with and review. Opinions of our experience are 100% our own.

On Father’s Day I wanted a Water Blaster/Balloon fight with Allison and the kids. What I got was just that plus my dad getting in on the action. Dad went right for the Tri Strike Crossbow and he and Eva squared off. She had the Super Soaker Hydro Storm which was a motorized blaster that I bought. I took my camera and captured them with continuous firing of the camera then uploaded the photos to Google where they were made into the animated image below. There were big smiles on both Dad’s and Eva’s faces.

The Tri Strike Crossbow is a good sized blaster and holds 40 fluid ounces of water. That is a good amount but we certainly burned through it very quickly. You can make it last longer if you do not deploy the side arms which lets the Tri Strike shoot three separate streams of water. You deploy the sides with a flick of a button and can easily secure them back to the main body very quickly. There is no trigger for this blaster. You fire the blaster by pump action. With this you can hit targets up to 38 feet away.

I like the feel of the NERF Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow

I liked the weight of the Tri Strike and how it felt in my hands. The pump action was smooth and there was no leakage. when I first opened the plug to fill it with water I was pleasantly surprised to find that the opening was very wide and there was a heavy string that securely held onto the plug as you filled the toy. I can remember having squirt guns as a kid that had that awful little plastic piece that could be pulled right out and lost almost immediately. I actually had six Nerf Super Soakers for the water war (five of which I bought myself) and I was impressed with how each of them opened for filling.

Andrew Can't Wait till he can use the NERF Super Soaker Tri Strike Crossbow

I know that my son is excited about when he can actually fire the Tri Strike Crossbow.
