On Monday August 18, Daniel Tiger Season 2 will premiere. This new season the Tiger family will be getting a new member, baby Margaret. Daniel will be come a big brother and learn all about what that entails. I’m thrilled for this new season because of all the new strategies that the kids and parents can learn through the season. Having a baby in the family means that the show will now be dealing with issues surrounding siblings, sibling rivalry, jealousy and more issues that come up through being siblings.
We can pretty much sing every single one of the Daniel Tiger songs. Andrew was all about Daniel Tiger for the longest time. We were getting up at 3am every day because he wouldn’t sleep. We’d go down to the living room and watch a couple of Daniel Tiger episodes. It would relax him and then the two of us would end up falling asleep on the couch. There are nice catchy tune from the show for each of the different strategies that are taught. We find ourselves singing them all the time even months after having watched the episodes.
