I think that Splatoon was one of the only games that my son could pick up immediately and play on the Nintendo Wii U. He took to the game so naturally and I hardly had to guide him in anything. Well, I took my meager work bonus and set aside money to pre-order a Nintendo Switch. I’m not sure about affording many games yet but one we will definitely be getting will be Splatoon 2. I’m excited for the Free Preview weekend that is coming so that we can play the game before we buy it. You can read all about it below. But first check out the preview of the game from the Switch presentation. It looks awesome!
The Gruffalo is an adorable story. I enjoyed reading it to my kids and then watching it together. We would read both The Gruffalo and The Gruffalo’s Child books and then watch the stories. Now the Oscar-nominated The Gruffalo is being re-released on DVD January 10, 2017. I will be giving away a pair of the DVDs. You can enter to win by leaving a comment on this post. Tell me your favorite childhood story. The contest ends January 6, 2017.
