Photo-A-Day #4374

Today Andrew and I built the Spider-Man Ghost rider Team-Up LEGO Set (76058) that is part of the Marvel superheroes line. We had a nice time doing it and he really enjoyed playing with the minifigs. Although he liked the newspapers even more. The kid was more interested in what was in the trash (which was funny) and the newspapers, which he calls “Papes” because of Newsies.

I had been shying away from doing many LEGO posts because I’ve been doing so much LEGO with Brian over at Built from Bricks and I didn’t want to step on any of the shows. This set was one that Brian and Steve did a long while ago and I just picked up because it dropped in price at Target. I’ve been meaning to build more LEGO sets with Andrew and Eva whenever I can. Today we had time so we started and completed this build. It was a nice one and I love the chopper. It is awesome and the three tone flames are fantastic! More in today’s video.

A Half Day of LEGO Play and Netflix Shows

Our Day of LEGO PlayThe Netflix StreamTeam sent me a couple of LEGO sets. One from LEGO Friends and the other from LEGO Bionicle. These two sets go along with some brand new Netflix shows of the same names. There is LEGO Friends: The Power of Friendship and the other LEGO: Bionicle: The Journey to One. The kids had a half day so we spent it building all sorts of LEGO creations while we enjoyed the wide variety of LEGO shows on Netflix. We even watched the movie LEGO: The Adventures of Clutch Powers. This movie came out before The LEGO movie and starred people like Ryan McPartlin, Yvonne Strahovski and even Chris Hardwick. It was a funny little movie filled with that LEGO humor that only LEGO can do.
