Happy Mother’s Day. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are sending a special message to the moms out there. They have been very busy leading up the the release of the new movie.

Movie Synopsis

Michelangelo, Donatello, Leonardo, and Raphael return to theaters this summer to battle bigger, badder villains, alongsideApril O’Neil (Megan Fox), Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett), and a newcomer: the hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (Stephen Amell). After supervillain Shredder escapes custody, he joins forces with mad scientist Baxter Stockman (Tyler Perry) and two dimwitted henchmen, Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (WWE Superstar Stephen “Sheamus” Farrelly), to unleash a diabolical plan to take over the world. As the Turtles prepare to take on Shredder and his new crew, they find themselves facing an even greater evil with similar intentions: the notorious Krang.

For Mother’s Day we started off with Mass with my mom. The kids were happy to have Mom with them at church. Andrew was a bit of a handful but impishly charming as usual. He insisted upon wearing his Woody Cowboy boots with shorts and of course pulled off an adorable look. More than a few people got a smile from that wardrobe choice.

We also had my grandparents and my mom over for dinner. We did burgers and dogs plus corn on the cob, salad and veggies. It was a delicious dinner and very nice to see Grandma and Grandpa. We haven’t seen them in a while. It was a nice afternoon.
