Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! - When I Grow Up

I’m very excited to announce a great special from PBS KIDS because I’ve just started on as a PBS KIDS VIP, a group of parent bloggers who will be ambassadors to PBS through their blogs and other social media outlets. I’ll be attending the PBS annual meeting, talking about the PBS shows, apps and other special programs as well. The first is the celebration of Dr. Seuss’ 108th birthday.

To celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 108th birthday on March 2, 2012 PBS KIDS is having a two-hour marathon of their popular new series The Cat in The Hat Knows A Lot About That! including two brand new episodes. I’ve watched a few of these episodes and what I’ve noticed is that the episodes focus on learning about traits of animals. It is a science-focused show where many questions are asked and then the two kids and the Cat in The Hat go and learn the answers to their questions. Continue reading Dr. Seuss, 108 Years Young

Press Release: PBS KIDS SERIES’ VIEWERSHIP JUMPS 33 PERCENT AMONG CHILDREN 4-8 AND 17 PERCENT WITH 2-5-YEAR-OLDS

It is pretty exciting to see that education based programming like the shows on PBS Kids are starting to gain in viewership. Eva has watched PBS Kids shows since she was one year old. Her favorite is Curious George but she is also a fan of the other three shows mentioned in this press release. She enjoys The Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That!, Dinosaur Train and Super Why.
